"Road to Bali" was the sixth of seven "Road to..." feature films by Paramount Pictures. It was the only movie in color for its time and was the first to feature cameo appearances from two well-known stars. The movie was more packed with excitment than a Las Vegas vacation. Stars of the film were known for their talent not only as actors but as singers and dancers. "Road to Bali" offers as much variety and comedy as any Vegas packages even though the movie takes place in Australia.
"Songs performed in the movie are "Chicago Style" performed by Bing Crosby and Bob Hope, "Moonflowers" by Dorothy Lamour, "Hoot Mon" sung by Crosby and Hope, "To See You Is To Love You" by Crosby, "The Merry-Go-Run-Around" with Hope, Lamour and Crosby, "The Road To Bali" by Crosby and Hope (Song was recorded commercially, not for the film.) Music for all songs is by Jimmy Van Heusen with lyrics are by Johnny Burke.
