Earlier in the episode, Lucy tried on an expensive ring her boss bought for his wife. Unfortunately she can't get the ring off. More unfortunately still, she has a nervous affliction whereby her fingers swell up when she is under stress. So she takes some pills she has to help her in such situations. Unfortunately, she takes too many... Enjoy this absolute classic peach of a sketch as Lucy and her boss arrive outside her (classic 1950's television) home...
